Chiltern Railway's want to rename Bicester Town station to Bicester Village.
Despite holding a public consultation which overwhelmingly said that the residents and councillors of Bicester wanted to maintain their identity and keep the name Bicester Town, Chiltern Railways
ignored the outcome and commissioned their own survey which unsurprisingly favoured their original choice of name.

So knowing that public opinion in Bicester appeared to be against renaming the station, we were dubious about Chiltern's survey. So we commissioned our own. Interestingly, initially
Chiltern said that they had 100 responses to their survey. Since we published that we had 179 in just a few days, they have started saying publicly that they had 200 responses even though
their presentation clearly adds up to just 100. Strange, survey envy?
